On October 14th, five teens joined Chef/Instructor Paloma Apgar for the first day of LOCA - the Lovin' Oven Culinary Academy. Every Monday and Wednesday afternoon for 8 weeks, the teens will learn the in-depth skills necessary for a job in the hospitality industry. 

Upon completion, graduates will have learned food handling, knife skills, commercial kitchen/equipment basics, cooking techniques, customer service and front-of-house skills.
