We would like to thank Miller Oberlin of Oberlin Photography for so generously donating his time to take all the photos for Cowboy Cab this year, in addition to many times throughout the year! We are so lucky to have him as a friend and resource!
Miller W. Oberlin is a Bay Area native that has lived all over the world. While living in New York City and obtaining his B.S. in Cinema & Media Studies at the New School University, he learned much of his craft under the tutelage of the award winning cinematographer Lyle Vincent (imdb.com). Miller cut his teeth working on independent films and shooting for news/entertainment publications such as TimeOutNY.com and The Brooklyn Rail. In 2011 he married his main squeeze Libby on their favorite island, Nantucket. They now live in Sonoma, the heart of real Wine Country, where he works professionally in event documentation and portraiture. Miller has created images for a growing clientele of families and businesses such as The Theater School, Sonoma Arts Live, Teen Services Sonoma, Hamel Family Wines, Jeff Gaffner’s, Saxon Brown winery, and Nest Labs. In 2014 he began working with the fantastic events team at Google, documenting events like the GMA (Great Manager Award) in Hawaii (2014) and Cabo San Lucas, Baja Mexico (2015), The Google Xmas Party at the SF Exploratorium, and ‘Take Your Parents to Work Day 2015” at Shoreline Amphitheater. He is humbled and honored by the opportunities he has experienced, and looks forward to working with you.
