Ready to Work Overview

Ready to Work (RTW) is a unique multi-tiered job readiness and
career exploration and preparation program open to all Sonoma Valley teens. RTW consists of work-readiness workshops, work-based learning opportunities, job placement, and coaching services. TSS goes beyond a comprehensive soft skills development program to provide work-based learning and the opportunity to build a portfolio of on-the-job skills and experiences.
Teens begin the RTW process by attending five free
Work Readiness workshops covering a variety of skills. Upon successful completion, teens receive a certificate and are ready to move on to a work-based learning opportunity at one of our two social enterprises (
Lovin' Oven and
Operation Bicycle) or to part or full-time jobs in the community. A Teen Services Job Coach provides follow-along support to both teen and employer for the first 90 days after placement.
